Tyler, The Creator Vents On New Track 'Fuck It'

Tyler, The Creator is known for rather obscene out there lyrics. Well his new track is no different. He has released a new song- 'Fuck It', on which he addresses a couple major things that recently happened and were sprawled across media headlines:-

  • His Australian Visa Denial
  • Accusal of him being homopobic
I don't think I need to say any more... Have a listen here:

Oh, and here are the lyrics:
I seen a lot of niggas
So when them niggas start talking reckless I get offended
I get it, they try to keep a image
But look a little closer at the picture and you'll that they're chameleons
How you doin'
You in the muthafucking building?
Nigga I'm an architect,
Got another crane and I don't know if I'ma park it yet
You ain't even start one yet, fuck off my property
Tell Australia I'm sneaking in with a mic in my damn hand
Instead of the vegetables that I packed in my backpack
When Marshall had this problem what the fuck was they telling him?
Is it cause of status or his melanin lacks black
I think people love to be mad
How can I be misogynistic love titties and ass
How can I be homophobic when my boyfriend's a fag
And we been hiding in the closet like our passion is fashion
Still tryna come out
Couldn't deal with niggas who decide to take the fun out
Prolly cause I like to in places where the suns out
So comparing niggas lights is a muthafucking bum out
Thought you niggas nudist, but y'all clothes
I was 'bout to tee off and put put till the end
Now it's anti-golf boys cause I don't fuck my friends
Worse thing they gave me was an opportunity and a pen
Freedom of speech? My freedom was breached
Border Patrol put me on streets immediately
For shit I said when I was a virgin, repeatedly
Posting on Hypebeast cause nobody would listen me
My child is product of me, very honest
Left of center, very different, they didn't want us
They didn't get us, didn't fit enough for their standards
Diverse and loud, so they ignore us
You put your life in a child that everybody hates
Now everybody hates papa despite that papas great
But that's your favorite child boy that's your favourite one
kids? Nope, I'm talking bout that cherry bomb
I don't think they hear it
I was fearing deteriorating
Almost ate my spirit
'Til the children cheered along
Watching them sing the songs
Eyeballs inspired
From pilot to 2seater
I couldn't steer them wrong
That's why i copped the McLaren, I couldn't stop at the bimmer
"Tyler loosing himself that nigga turned to a diva
Nigga preaching and smiling, nigga wilden and breathing
Tryna inspire all the little niggas that wanna be him
But fuck that! We want:
Cats cats daddy problems kickflip fuck fuck, cupcakes buttrape
Golf wang, daddy problems fag fag dad dad bike lake everything that i hate, plus being sad"
Y'all can cry about your year's top rap new albums
Golf did a quarter million in about two hours
Money money ain't the motive, but it is up for discussion
Niggas frontin' niggas wish that they could fuck with my production
Saying you the plug, get yo chords up
I was writing string sections on my tour bus
They adore me, my little birds
Be free flap your wings I encourage it
I wish i had fucking Xanex problem so y'all talk about how I deep I am
Man child in the flesh bitch I'm Peter Pan
You Captain the Hook muthafuckas wont ever be the man
I got a muthafucking vision I don't need your plans
So shut your muthafucking mouth when I be speaking man
To the only sober nigga that be tweeking fam

Beyonce X Ronda = Diva

Ronda Rousey is a fucking epic. Yup, we all know. And Beyonce... well she's is the Queen of pop-culture. It doesn't get much better than this.

During Beyonce’s set at the Made In America festival on Saturday, she played Rousey’s now famous "Do Nothing Bitch" voice over before performing "Diva." (NSFW: Language warning).

Just check out these two bad bitches rocking that stage in spoken word and stage presence:

VIDEO: "Fruitvale Station"

“Fruitvale Station,” is based on a true story about the fatal Oakland shooting of an unarmed young black man. This is the story of Oscar Grant III, a 22-year-old Bay Area resident, who crosses paths with friends, enemies, family, and strangers on the last day of 2008.

The film won the two top prizes at the Sundance Film Festival and has become a cause celebre among critics. The film hitting theatres just as the jurors in the George Zimmerman trial were deliberating.

This film was released in 2013, yet here in Australia I never heard anything about it until now.
Rightfully, activists are seizing the opportunity to promote the movie, which calls for justice and implies that nothing like it has occurred yet, though the man who shot and killed Oscar Grant has already served time in prison and Grant’s family has prevailed in a large civil suit.

So many videos have surfaced of officers committing race crimes around the U.S. and more so since this movie was released in 2013, including the murders of Eric Garner, 43, and Michael Brown, 18, (to just name the few that the media have paid close attention to). The list of unarmed African-Americans being shot for the most obscure reasons is endless and you can find their names and a brief explanation of what happened here: http://gawker.com/unarmed-people-of-color-killed-by-police-1999-2014

The 22-year-old, Oscar Grant is played by Michael B. Jordan. Mr. Grant was a small-time criminal who cheated on his girlfriend and had been fired from a job at a grocery store. “Fruitvale Station,” a debut effort from young filmmaker Ryan Coogler, tries to fit a halo on its subject, seemingly to play up the audience’s sympathies.

The way I see it, even if Oscar Grant III had been the worst criminal in the Bay Area, he SHOULD NOT have been shot in the back by a BART Officer while lying face down on a subway platform, and I thoroughly respect the film’s implicit plea that all human lives are valuable and deserving of basic human dignity.

This is the cell phone footage captured and its clear the actual event has been directed pretty close to actual events. *CAUTION GRAPHIC*

Overweight with a Pretty Face Ain't Healthy

It has come to my attention that a woman by the name of Tess Holliday is being featured in numerous articles and kind of being praised for her self-image. She describes herself as an activist, aiming to change the way the fashion industry makes women feel about themselves. I find this disturbing as she is most definitely one of the largest women I have seen. She is not now, nor ever an 'activist' for anything good.

Unfortunately she is just as much not promoting a healthy body image as those stick thin starving models with a BMI of >18. I am so disgusted that overweight and unhealthy is now being represented as healthier than the 'skinny' girls. That's not right either. Healthy is healthy.....

My friend Naomi Campbell (Perth) said, "People mistake malnourishment and eating disorders for being exclusive to the skinny population." This is a very powerful statement coming from her as she has dealt with her own demons and won the fight against anorexia.

The image below is just as unhealthy as Tess Holliday just the polar opposite.
Image from: http://girltalkhq.com/ Article posted January 2015

Overweight acceptance and beautification objectively reduces the drive for those targeted to try to lose weight and become healthier. Obesity correlates indisputably with a reduced life span and quality of life, and increased financial cost onto society. Tess Holliday, in an attempt to make girls her size 'feel good about themselves' and forcing the political correctness of "you can't tell someone they're fat" mindset, you are inadvertently killing people.

If you compare statistics of suicide and malnutrition deaths from anorexia (roughly 100-400 deaths per year in the U.S.) compared to 300,000+ obesity related deaths per year, this image is not doing anyone ANY favours.

And Tess' images are far from the truth. She gets photoshopped too.

This is not acceptable, and is glorifying something that is not healthy. It is not acceptable to be skinny to the point of bones sticking out and its most certainly not acceptable to be obesely overweight. I am disgusted that this is what we as human being are promoting as a way to 'love who we are'. You can say "What do you know, you're skinny and I bet you've never been overweight and had that struggle". No I haven't but I have had other struggles like battling acne and not having any confidence to go out of the house on a hot day in anything less than a t-shirt because it was that humiliating.

I also know that I will never accept this obese weight as being acceptable and I have damn good reason. My dad was overweight, much like Tess and he died at the age of 61 of a massive heart attack caused by his weight, amongst other factors. His obesity over the years slowly killed him. He left behind myself, my mother and my 19 year old brother and that breaks my heart. I cannot accept that this, this image, is the right way to promote loving yourself. This promotes over indulgence and a lack of self control and its saying that its okay to be unhealthy and binge eat crap and not exercise and love your body.

Teenagers who do struggle with weight need to be motivated to actually get up and get moving! We need to stop tiptoeing around these people who cannot accept the fact that they need to change.

Oh MATH!

I just came across a small article covering the fact that a Nigerian Student solved a 30 year old math equation and broke an Academic Record at a Japanese University.

This was not reported on in the mainstream media and I think it's a worthy piece of news, as this young man is clearly a sharp tac!

The students name is Ufot Ekong and he has just become the first Nigerian to earn a “First Class Degree” and become the best overall student at Tokai University in Tokyo, Japan since 1965!

He broke the record for the highest graduating GPA, the last time anyone graduated with a grade point average similar to Ufot Ekong was over 50 years ago. Ufot solved said 30 year old outstanding mathematical equation in his first semester! He has also won six academic awards from the school.

Ufot put himself through school by working two jobs and is truly an inspiration to those out there who aren't sure if they can go to uni and finish a degree.. If Ufot can, you can!

Ufot speaks English, Yoruba, French and Japanese!  I want to say a massive well done and congratulations on all your hard work. Ufot, you are an amazing young man.

Part II:
This brings me to another point. I am now right around the corner from being 24. When I finished high school I had no idea what I wanted to do but was always good at talking. I came across Public Relations and thought, "that sounds alright" and was influenced by The Hills and The City. I never sat my end of high school exams because I was ashamed of my academic skills and didn't want to have a bad score permanently on my record.

After school I furthered my education the best way I could. I went to TAFE (where I went is now known as The Central Institute of Technology Perth). I completed a Cert IV and a Diploma in Public Relations only to have my lecturer tell me he didn't think I was read for the working world and that I would benefit from going to uni. So I did.

While I was at uni, struggling some days and wanting to give up and just work somewhere, anywhere but I didn't. I was proud that I had made it into uni and was pursuing something that I know meant a lot to my dad (he was a Mining Engineer and had completed his Masters in something) and to my mum, who never got the opportunity to go to uni.

It pains me to hear young people giving up on their degrees. "I have a year left but it's not what I want to do, I'm going to do something else" I want to SLAP these people silly!!! Finish it and go onto something else!! We are blessed in Australia to be offered HECS/HELP to get through uni and only start paying the government back when we earn over a certain threshold. Ufot Ekong had to work two.. YES TWO jobs to put himself through university and he never gave up.

I want young people to never give up, you entered into something because you felt a connection to it. Finish it and move onto something else and continue bettering yourself.

Pardon my rant but it had to happen...

YSL AD BANNED: how thin is too thin?

In the UK, The Advertising Standards Authority have removed and banned an ad image for French fashion house Yves Saint Laurent, because the model in the image appeared to be too thin.

The advert shows a model with, what I would consider, extremely 'thin legs' and 'a visible ribcage', laying on the floor wearing a LBD (little black dress for all you squares).

The ASA released their ruling yesterday; their statement,

“The ASA considered that the model’s pose and the particular lighting effect in the ad drew particular focus to the model’s chest, where her rib cage was visible and appeared prominent, and to her legs, where her thighs and knees appeared a similar width, and which looked very thin, particularly in light of her positioning and the contrast between the narrowness of her legs and her platform shoes. We therefore considered that the model appeared unhealthily underweight in the image and concluded that the ad was irresponsible.”

The image appeared in Elle magazine in the UK, and thus was brought to the ASA's attention by a reader who thought the model looked unhealthy, and the ad was irresponsible.

In the statement, the ASA also mention that YSL did not agree that the model was too thin. I dont think they have eyes. This is what really bothers me about the fashion industry; you have heavy weights like YSL not caring about the health of their models, like the one featured, yet people like Chrissy Teigen have been ridiculed for being and looking healthy and beautiful.

Minimum weight restrictions for models has been a topic of much debate in recent years. The French Government even made a ruling that models must show medical evidence of having a BMI above 18 to be able to work. Modelling agencies can even be heavily fined if they are found booking jobs for models that don't meet that requirement. I am beginning to think that France is actually full of great ideas to help the greater good- health and wellbeing of the people on this earth.

VIDEO: Natalie Portman's Harvard Address 2015

I don't even think I need to comment on this, Natalie Portman's Harvard Commencement Speech, Harvard Commencement 2015, is the most moving and amazing speech.

Her comments on how acting makes her happy are things that I feel and am striving to follow. I hope people will follow my journey to becoming an actress.

She is truly inspiring. <3 p="">

Orthorexia Nervosa

Not many people have heard of Orthorexia Nervosa and it's not currently recognised as a clinical diagnosis in the DSM-5, like Anorexia Nervosa or Bulimia Nervosa

Orthorexia is a term coined by by Steven Bratman, MD to describe his own experience with food and eating. It describes people who have an “unhealthy obsession” with otherwise healthy eating. The term "Orthorexia Nervosa" literally means “fixation on righteous eating.”  Orthorexia starts out as an innocent attempt to eat healthier but orthorexics become fixated on food quality and purity.

They become consumed with what and how much to eat, and how to deal with “slip-ups.”  Incredibly strong will-power is needed to maintain this rigid eating style.  Every day is a chance to eat right, be “good,” rise above others in dietary prowess, and self-punish if temptation wins (usually through stricter eating, fasts and exercise).  Self-esteem becomes wrapped up in the purity of orthorexics’ diet and they sometimes feel superior to others, especially in regard to food intake.

It starts by cutting out certain food groups- protein, dairy, gluten etc... Eventually food choices become so restrictive, in both variety and calories, that health suffers – an ironic twist for a person so completely dedicated to healthy eating.  Eventually, the obsession with healthy eating can crowd out other activities and interests, impair relationships, and become physically dangerous.

If you know anyone who show this kind of behaviour, suggest they see a nutritionalist and not take advice from blogs and untrained health advocates.

Watch this interesting report from SBS2.

I will be here, eating a nice dirty burger and fries...

VIDEO: A$AP Ferg's GTM Tour

A videographer from Sydney, Luke Eblen, had the awesome opportunity to film A$AP Ferg on stage while he toured around Australia and New Zealand. He managed to get some pretty rad footage of the A$AP Mob kids having a sick time and killing it at tour life.

If, like myself, you weren't lucky (or rich) enough to go to Groovin' The Moo or any of A$AP Ferg's side shows then [apparently] you missed out on an 'electric' show. Luke Eblen interviewed A$AP Ferg, Marty Baller (Ferg's lifelong friend/hypeman) and TJ Mizell (Ferg's DJ), as well as ridiculously including some really impressive aerial shots of the Townsville & Maitland crowds.

Now, lucky for me I work at a club in Melbourne who hosted him and the A$AP Mob for their after party. It was a pretty great show, he had everyone signing along with him and the club was jumping.

This short vid shows the whirlwind that is touring with the TrapLord, the beautiful and intimate moments where the A$AP Mob reflect on their eternal remembrance of the A$AP founder A$AP Yams, and how grateful they are to be touring as musicians.

"Ferg shares the stage with Marty Baller and TJ," said Eblen. "All three are interesting as individuals, but they're a powerhouse on stage together."

Truth. Watch here:

BIG congratulations for them on the birth of their non-confirmed-gender child, I'm sure it will be the cutest baby, they're both very attractive people. (Will update with details once released).

ICYMI: Ciara x Roberto Cavalli

While we were sleeping Roberto Cavalli's latest muse has been released.

Ciara is quoted as being "so excited" to be the face of Cavalli for the Fall 2015 Campaign. The match came about when the two were dancing in Dubai, “I had a marvelous night dancing with Mr. Cavalli last fall in Dubai, and now my dream of being in one of their campaigns has come true,” Ciara told Style.com.

This isn't the first time Ciara has bee the face of a fashion label or top fashion magazine. Back in 2009 she became a Givenchy muse to Riccardo Tisci, and more recently she worked with Vogue Italia’s Franca Sozzani on the cover of her newest album, Jackie.

We are super stoked that CC is joining the likes of Rita Ora and Nicki Minaj, whom have also featured in Roberto Cavalli Campaigns.

Hillary Clinton's Merch is Rad

Hillary Clinton is one badass bitch! I want this woman to be the next President of the United States so much that I am considering registering and voting in the U.S. in the next elections.

Her campaign merch is super cool and I definitely want a t-shirt! She's "shattering the glass ceiling" with her awesome campaign merchandise, check them out...

The ladies tee is a print of Hillary's classic, bold and powerful suit. 'The Everyday Pantsuit Tee' is for when you want to keep your reputation up as a stylish, badass, boss-bitch, who runs a country.

AXE THE TAMPON TAX

Last night on Q&A it started out with humour on its side. (You can watch the full show on ABC

Subeta Vimalarajah, the studentwho started a petition urging the government to remove GST on tampons (and sanitary pads), recorded a video question for Hockey, then showed up in the audience.

She put him on the spot and got him to agree to raise the issue with his colleagues, so we'll see how that goes. Hopefully Subeta gets her way, this will make a huge difference to something we (women) cannot control nor do we have a choice in the matter.

GST should NEVER have been introduced on sanitary items, its such a disgrace that women have to pay more for something they NEED. According to the government, sanitary products, such as pads, tampons, and moon cups etc... are a luxury. Like new shoes. Like a holiday. Like nice, shiny jewellery. UMMM NO!

If you haven't already, please sign the petition here: https://www.communityrun.org/petitions/stop-taxing-my-period

France, Feeding the World

France has passed a wonderful new law, that every country should follow. France has made it ILLEGAL for supermarkets to throw out edible food. Supermarket managers that disobey the new law could face jail time and fines up to $80,000 (U.S.)

The Government wants supermarkets to enter into contract with local shelters and charities instead and donate rather than waste.

Nearly one third of all food produced in the world is wasted. (world resources institute), this is a sad figure when there are so many mouths this could feed.

I praise France for creating this law, lets hope they can 'police' it and make a real difference in the world.

Kookaï Disgrace

In breaking news there has been some recent controversy around a V.I.P. event at the Kookaï in The Emporium, Melbourne. There were comments swirling around of racism but from reading the original post (below) and the Managing Directors apology I feel as though the issue has been misconstrued.

This appears to be more of an issue of pure disrespect not of any particular racism and a very low level of customer service. This is very unfortunate for the brand as this is a HUGE black mark for so many shoppers who have already been disgruntled after shopping by experiencing their own poor customer service. I know I have had both ends of the spectrum and when I first moved to Melbourne, I really wanted to work within the Kookaï brand.

I respect and appreciate the Managing Director stepping up and releasing a statement but it just feels as though he has pushed the blame onto the 'external security company'. You can read the 'apology' here www.facebook.com/Kookai.

I, for one, appreciate that Serena had the courage to step up and openly state that she was unhappy with what happened. I hope she feels she got the apology she deserved.

H&M x Balmain

Banging Photo #MHBALMAINATION
So ICYMI the word was spread at the 2015 Billboard Awards that H&M's next designer collab will be with Balmain!

We can thank the stunning Kendall Jenner and Jourdan Dunn for wearing pieces from the new collection on the red carpet to showcase the collab. I am super excited to see what else they have designed for the launch and I really hope they produce a few more pieces than the Alexander Wang x H&M collab, H&M Melbourne sold out wayyy too fast.

Such a great launch Jourdan x Kendall with a little bit of Olivier. Image source Instagram: @balmainparis

The Balmain's creative director, Olivier Rousteing, sat down with Style.com to talk about how the collaboration came about, and revealed a very specific reason he thinks Balmain's H&M collection will be different from the ones that have come before: The couture nature of Balmain's products.

"It was a big challenge and a good challenge. I don’t want to lose the craftsmanship, and I don’t want to lose the richness and the glamour of the house," he says. "I kept the glamour and richness, but we twisted it. You can find in the collection so many different garments, and I think that’s going to be the beauty of the collection. My collaboration is different from the others. H&M really challenged themselves with craftsmanship, with the high couture level of France, and the results are great."

Yonce's Pricey Bubbles

So the pic below got me kind of irate as well. It shows Beyonce pouring, what appears to be, $20,000 Ace Champagne into a hot tub.

I would like to think that she is smarter than to pour ACTUAL ridiculously expensive Champagne into a hot tub and that its just an empty bottle with water in it but on the off chance its not... it's very disappointing.

Beyonce and the infamous Ace Champagne

I'll admit, it totally appear bad-ass and honestly, if anyone has the money to do this AND give to charity is Bey. Still loved the 'Feeling Myself' video and Beyonce but I ask, please no more [appearing to] pouring peoples education into a spa... its gets people worked up.

Catcha Late Night King

The way I will always remember watching David Letterman
The time has come to farewell David Letterman. He has been a wonder on the air for 33 years and has kept us entertained in the wee hours of the night. Comedians, rock stars, and Bill Murray.

33 years ago ... David Letterman and guest
Bill Murray appear at the taping of the debut of
"Late Night with David Letterman" in
New York. Picture: AP/Nancy Kaye Source: AP
David Letterman will be replaced by Stephen Colbert in September. Letterman made Top Ten lists and ironic humour staples of television comedy and influenced a generation of performers and it was made evident by the list of celebrities who came to see him off. The list included Jerry Seinfeld, Chris Rock, Jim Carrey, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Barbara Walters, Peyton Manning and Alec Baldwin along with Fey and Martin.

It was also reported that a few audience members were seen leaving teary-eyed after the show. It is, indeed, a very sad sight to see a legend retiring.

Surprise! ... Bill Murray jumped out of giant cake on his
final appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman.

As for Colbert, I think I'll stick to watching Jimmy Fallon and Ellen.

VIDEO: A$AP ROCKY - LSD

Here's a new, trippy clip for you. This ones from A$AP Rocky's upcoming album  At.Long.Last.A$AP.

This new album has reportedly had a few people dabble in the producing including Kanye West, with other production credits going to Danger Mouse, Clams Casino, Mark Ronson & more.

This track "LSD" is more in line with A$AP Rocky's earlier tunes but more refined, giving it an easier listening vibe. Super chilled and I'm loving it. Dexter Navy did a bang up job on the visuals giving it the perfect mix of real life and trip. I have no doubt that A$AP Rocky did his homework on this track.

You can get your grubby little mitts on this album on June 2, 2015.

Have a nice trip. Watch the video below.

Jimmy Fallon is a GOD when it comes to bringing out the best in people and making everyone (especially me) laugh my tits off, wet myself, and just literally ROFL.

This has got to be one of my all time favourite games he has played, especially because I love, love, love Jamie Foxx (I think he's an absolute babe and a half).

I most certainly just lost my shit laughing and I hope you will enjoy...

Hugh Jackman's Good Deed for the Day

Being half Australian and half American, I have this issue and debate with people (mainly friends and family in the States) about Vegemite. It truly is a delicious salty treat for your mornings, you just have to know how to eat it right.

Hugh Jackman has given Jimmy Fallon the 411 on how to eat Vegemite and this is possibly my favourite interview to date (people knowing how to eat and enjoying Vegemite makes me happy).

For all those who still haven't tried it and are interested, please watch this Public Service Announcement below.

VIDEO: TAYLOR SWIFT FT. KENDRICK LAMAR - BAD BLOOD

Taylor Swift is a badass! The new video for Bad Blood Ft. Kendrick Lamar and everybody else...including Cara Delevigne, Selena Gomez, Karlie Kloss, Martha Hunt, Jessica Alba, Gigi Hadid (okay, basically every awesome Victorias Secret Angel is in this), Lena Dunham, Hailee Steinfeld, Zendaya, and the leader of the Secret Hot Girls Club: Cindy Crawford.

Behind the scenes with the #BossBitches
This boss bitch, action packed video is too hot to handle! We love a good Taylor ballad and this one is amazing because this feud allegedly began when three of Tay's backup dancers, who she considered essential to her Red tour, were lured away and hired by Katy in Sep. 2014. In Katy’s defence, she allegedly had worked regularly with these dancers before and she felt that Taylor had done the initial stealing. Wowza....

Anyways, who cares how it started because it created something magical.
